This autumnal veg packed bacon and vegetable dish is perfect on it’s own or as a tasty side dish to a family roast roast. Our Oak Smoked Dry Cured Bacon enhances the flavours of the other ingredients for a simple but superb autumnal veg meal.

  • 4 Edwards Oak Smoked Dry Cured Bacon rashers
  • 1 large leek
  • Large knob of salted butter
  • 300g frozen peas
  • 30g vintage cheddar
  • Sprig of fresh thyme

Cooking Instructions

  • Melt the butter in a frying pan, add the Edwards Oak Smoked Dry Cured Bacon rashers and leeks. Then add the thyme and cook the bacon cooked through and leeks are soft.
  • Add peas and cook for 3-4 minutes.
  • Add a little salt and pepper to taste.
  • Place in a large bowl and crumble cheese all over.
