Here at Edwards of Conwy are pleased to announce that through the support of the Welsh Government we have been able to continue our plans for future development in our manufacturing business (The Traditional Welsh Sausage Co Ltd).
Working on a project with the Welsh Government through their European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), administered by the department of Economy, Skills and Natural Resources (ESNR) under the authority of the Welsh Ministers we have been able to purchase new, technology advanced, meat production equipment.
The aim of this project is to enable the company to invest in new food processing equipment which should increase general food production efficiency, reduce food waste and improve levels of food safety and security. The new equipment will also facilitate the launch of our brand into new markets allowing us to offer healthier and more sustainable products. As a result, we foresee that this will help the business to respond to the fast changing eating habits of our customers, create new skilled roles and thereby help the business to develop it’s potential.
