Traditionally cured by hand using British Pork Loins

All of our bacon is cured by hand and air dried “the old fashioned way”, using a special recipe which enhances the flavour and texture. Instead of smoking our bacon after curing, we add the smoke flavour during the process. This lets the flavour cure along with the meat delivering the great smoked flavour our customers love. We cut this bacon into thicker slices for a truly traditional experience. Of course, these thick rashers are perfect for an epic bacon sandwich but don’t forget to check out our selection of bacon recipes for more inspiration.

Ingredients

British Pork Loin (99%), Salt, Sugar, Smoke Flavour, Preservatives, (Sodium Nitrate, Sodium Nitrite).

Cooking Instructions

For best results cook from chilled. Remove all packaging.

To Grill - Heat a little oil in a frying pan. Gently fry on a medium heat for 6-8 minutes,turning occasionally

To Fry - Place under a preheated medium to hot grill for 4-6 mins, turning occasionally

Ensure the bacon is piping hot - not suitable for microwaving

Storage Instructions

  • Keep refrigerated, once open use within 2 days

  • Suitable for home freezing. Freeze on day of purchase & use within one month

  • Defrost thoroughly before cooking & use the same day. Once defrosted do not re-freeze
