Traditionally cured by hand using British Belly of Pork

All of our bacon is cured by hand and air dried “the old fashioned way”, using a special recipe which enhances the flavour and texture. We cut this bacon into thicker slices for a truly traditional experience. As well as being a favourite at Christmas, streaky bacon is a versatile ingredient for everyday cooking,  we’ve perfected our process to make sure this bacon is a fantastic year round, flavour packed recipe ingredient.

Ingredients

Pork Belly (99%), Salt, Sugar, Preservatives, (Potassium Nitrate, Sodium Nitrite).

Cooking Instructions

For best results cook from chilled. Remove all packaging.

To Grill - Place under a preheated medium to hot grill for 7-10 mins, turning occasionally

4 - 6

To Fry - Heat a little oil in a frying pan. Gently fry on a medium heat for 4 - 6 minutes, turning occasionally

Ensure the bacon is piping hot - not suitable for microwaving

Storage Instructions

  • Keep refrigerated below 4°C, once open use within 2 days

  • Suitable for home freezing. Freeze on day of purchase & use within one month.

  • Defrost thoroughly before cooking & use the same day. Once defrosted do not re-freeze.
