Ingredients

  • 350g Edwards Traditional Pork Sausage Meat
  • 120g of Edam
  • 1 large egg
  • 150g fresh white breadcrumbs
  • Plain flour, for dusting
  • 1 teaspoon mustard

Cooking Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 180C/160C (fan assisted oven).
  • Divide the Edwards of Conwy Sausage Meat into 6 equal pieces, before flattening into 1cm thick circular shapes.
  • Cut the cheese into 6 equal shaped cubes, then place in the middle of each of the sausage meat circles before wrapping and forming into balls.
  • Prepare a plate with flour, a bowl with the eggs (beaten with mustard) and another with the fresh breadcrumbs.
  • Roll each ball first in the flour, then in the beaten egg and then cover in the breadcrumbs. Repeat this for the 5 remaining balls.
  • Cook in the preheated oven for about 35 minutes or until browned, turning once during baking.
