Turkey Pasta Bake

Ingredients

  • Leftover Turkey
  • Edwards of Conwy Streaky Bacon
  • 1 Finely Chopped Onion
  • 300g Pasta (Penne)
  • 500g Pasta Sauce (whichever you prefer)
  • 150ml Double Cream
  • Grated Cheddar Cheese
  • Sunflower Oil

Method

  1. Half fill a large saucepan with water and bring to a boil. Put in the pasta and cook until tender.
  2. Preheat your oven to 200°C. Lightly oil a large lasagne dish or ovenproof dish.
  3. Heat oil in a large frying pan and fry the bacon and onion until lightly browned. Add the pasta sauce and cream then add a large ladleful of the pasta cooking water. Bring this to a simmer and stir in the turkey pieces.
  4. Drain the pasta then stir in the pasta sauce and turkey to the pan your pasta is in.
  5. Transfer all of this to the ovenproof dish you prepared and top with your cheese. Leave this to bake for 15 minutes or until the cheese has melted and starting to brown.
