Ultimate Christmas Sandwich

  • Leftover Turkey
  • Leftover Stuffing
  • Leftover Gravy
  • Edwards of Conwy Streaky Bacon
  • 1 Finely Chopped Onion
  • Cranberry Sauce
  • Olive Oil
  • Thick Slices of Bread
  • Butter
  • Cheddar Cheese


  1. Heat a little oil in a pan over medium heat. Fry the onion until browned then add the cranberry sauce and fry for a few minutes longer.
  2. Cook the streaky bacon in a frying pan over medium to high heat until golden and crisp. Set the bacon to aside then add the stuffing to the pan and fry until crisp.
  3. Butter each slice of bread on one side, then flip them over and put a tablespoon of gravy on the other side. Layer the gravy side with the turkey, stuffing, onion, cranberry, bacon and cheese then sandwich between the other gravy side of the bread.
  4. Preheat the grill to high. Melt the rest of the butter in a pan on medium heat and fry the sandwiches until each side is golden, then put under the grill until the cheese is oozing.
